Being physically or mentally challenged doesn't have to stop someone from being an active member and leader in the community.

Members and guests were given first hand experience of the challenge of being blind giving them food for thought on World Sight Day that took place two days later. Participants were given the opportunity to perform their speaking assignments blindfolded. This "opened their eyes" to the challenges of speaking without notes and without the normal feedback of eye contact with the audience.
