Dear Toastmasters, In recent months you have received emails from me that have tried to keep you up to date with the work of the John Whiffen Golden City Memorial Trust and, in particular, our fundraising efforts via the Cape Argus Cycle Challenge 2006 ride. As you know, the 2006 ride took place last weekend and Team Whiff had 12 people participating out of the total 30,000 riders. For one or two of us it was the first time, for others, it was a familiar friend and the quickest Team Whiffer made it home in a very credible 3h 28 mins. |
